What is Sore Throat?

Sore throat is characterized by a painful, itchy, swollen, or irritated throat. It’s often caused by a viral infection, and it’s usually the first sign of a cold. If not treated properly, it can worsen into a cough or flu.

White patches or pus on tonsils
